Now that it can be reported that Joe Biden was barely cognitive during his presidency, the media is looking for someone else to blame for them not noticing that Joe Biden was barely cognitive during his presidency.
Chuck Todd, who used to do something on NBC or MSNBC, asked, “How were we supposed to know Biden could barely put two sentences together or remember the names of his cabinet members? We are just the news media, you know, kind of like journalists, so we aren’t supposed to ask questions and stuff. That would be rude.”
Todd claims the media was duped into believing that Biden was fit as the proverbial fiddle.
“I’ve done some fiddlin’ in my day, and I can tell you that by all accounts, and by ‘all accounts’ I mean whatever the White House told us, we thought Biden was reading Aristotle, whoever he is, playing basketball, and swimming – all at the same time. It seemed plausible, especially since we weren’t supposed to ask any questions. We’re the news media, remember? I remember once when Jill Biden, who was the First Lady, you know, put a fiddle next to her husband, who was napping in the Oval Office at the time. Anyway, I could hardly tell the difference between the president and the fiddle. Both were lifeless and kept falling over when they were propped up against the wall. From there, it was clear to me that Joe Biden was fit as a fiddle.”
Todd said he and others in the news media were pretty surprised by Biden’s debate performance with Donald Trump.
“It looked to us like he had hardly played any basketball,” Todd stated. “I’m not sure he even swam any laps. And as for Aristotle, well…”
Todd and other members of the news media now say they are really sorry and stuff and promise not to be duped by another president, until a Democrat is in the White House again.
