Illinois legislature renames criminals
The Illinois state legislature recently passed a bill that changes references to criminal “offenders” to “justice-impacted individuals.” In a companion move, the same legislative body passed another bill that changes the term “legislator” to “reality-challenged individuals.”
“We think both of these measures better reflect what we as Illinois state legislators are all about – although I can’t seem to recall what that is at the moment,” said state senator Winky “Stinky” McLuen.
McLuen stated the legislature will soon take up a measure to change the name of the Chicago Bears to the Chicago Victory Challenged.
