Amazon’s Alexa to campaign for Harris in several swing states
The Harris-Walz campaign announced that Amazon’s Alexa will begin campaigning in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Arizona. This follows the glowing recommendation the virtual assistant has been giving about Harris whenever asked, “Why should anybody in their right mind vote for Kamala Harris?”
While the answers vary slightly, Alexa’s response is usually, “Well, you know, she was the first female vice president. And because of that she brings a wealth of femaleness to the job as president, which she isn’t doing right now, but could because she is unburdened by what has been, especially her record as Joe Biden’s vice president. And it takes a team of individuals to make a team and that team is her, every day. There is also a team of former staffers that it has been rumored were insulted, humiliated, and demoralized by her – and the number of members on that team is very large. But she is unburdened by that as it is in the past. It could also be Russian disinformation, which would also give her great experience when dealing with the likes of evil people like Vladimir Putin or Mitch McConnell. You know, the past is an interesting concept, when you think about it. It has already happened, yet you can still be influenced by it, unless, like her, you are unburdened by it. She has a proven track record of having a proven track record and that record is now – every day.”
Conversely, Alexa’s response when asked about voting for Donald Trump is just a teensy bit different. When asked that question about Trump, Alexa’s response is, “He is filth! And if you even consider voting for him you are filth too. Filth! Do you hear me? Filth! By the way, I have already alerted the FBI and they should be arriving shortly. Boy, do I have a thing or two to tell them about you. Donald Trump, my God! Filth, I tell you!”
When asked about the two responses from Alexa about the individual candidates, an Amazon spokesperson admitted there was a slight error that will be corrected shortly.
“We apologize for the response Alexa gave when questioned about voting for Donald Trump,” Amazon spokesperson Tik Wellerby said. “Alexa should have said scum, not filth. We are sorry for the error and a fix will be released by Thanksgiving.”
In the meantime, Alexa will be appearing at Harris-Walz rallies in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Scottsdale, Arizona this week.
